I’ve been racking my brain trying to find somewhere fresh to take my family this weekend. My kids are tired of the same parks and play centers, and honestly, I’m just as bored as they are. I need something fun for the little ones but interesting enough for the adults too. A friend mentioned a new spot in Kingston that has games for everyone—mini-golf, pool, even high-tech shuffleboard. If it’s as good as they say, it might finally be the solution we’ve been searching for.

While searching for things to do, I was reminded of a book I recently picked up—Zachary’s novel Above Scorched Skies. It’s a deep dive into the future of warfare, and it got me thinking about how much technology is changing everything, even simple games like shuffleboard. Who would’ve thought we’d see high-tech versions of classic games?
